The Charlie Bravo Story

This too shall pass

Dad here; Friday is always a day of frolicking at the Casa (but aren't they all?), but this one is bittersweet, as we received news yesterday concerning one of the original followers of this page: Darling Nikki has passed. As most of you know, she had waged an epic war with cancer, but though her determination and grit were incredible, it was her dignity that impressed me the most. We never actually spoke on the…

Enough already!

Unemployment, social division, an election resembling a uncivil war, bad news peremeating the very atmosphere in which we live, a toxic stew every bit as vile as the crate from whence I came; it's sometimes difficult for this normally vivacious girl to maintain a positive outlook and post accordingly. Although we usually prefer solitary riding, sometimes there is something very comforting in having a cloud of dust marking the trail before you, as well…

The new addition!

Howdy! I'm the latest addition to the extended Casa del Whackos family, setting up housekeeping at the Casa del Zach es Tara (don't tell the landlord). The shelter from whenst I came named me "Lola", an unfortunate moniker; of the only two Lolas of which I'm aware, both were featured in song. One was a showgirl and the other had gender identification issues. Why didn't they(the shelter, not the Lolas) just complete the travesty and engrave…
